摘要: Ferroelectric Sr1.8Ca0.2NaNb5O15 (SCNN) optical thin films have been fabricated on fused quartz substrates using pulsed laser deposition. X-ray diffraction measurements and scanning electron microscopy revealed that these SCNN exhibited a pure tetragonal tungsten-bronze phase polycrystalline crystal structure with good surface morphologies. Their transmittance profiles showed the had of 80% in visible range. The waveguiding properties were characterized coupled prism technique. Distinct m-lines guided transverse-electric (TE) -magnetic (TM) modes waveguides observed. TE TM refractive indices found to be 2.251 2.237, respectively. A simple, direct reliable technique based shift synchronous angles as function applied electric field was used investigate effective electro-optic coefficient, which determined 176.6 pm V−1. We demonstrate this is convenient studying electro-optics for films.
