摘要: Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the perception pain and time onset in relation mandibular alveolar nerve block administered by a computerized anesthesia delivery system (ie, Wand) traditional syringe). Methods This conducted according split-mouth design, with both types injections being given all patients. Subjects consisted 33 patients between 7 18 years age requiring local for dental restorations sides mandible. All were blindfolded, sound from Wand machine activated during administration. Topical analgesic placed area injection site cases. Pain ratings obtained using 10-point visual analog scale (VAS). Time measured, withdrawal needle numbness lower lip reported.
