摘要: Abstract Construction of the Danube Iron Gate Dam for hydroelectricity, 943 km from mouth River, is changing sediment transport due to its retention in Reservoir (IGR), potentially causing heavy metal enrichment, re-distribution within solid phase, exchange or re-suspension on sediment–water interface. The concentrations metals (Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd) water during a five-year period along IGR were determined. fluxes river sedimentation determined, as well their bottom interface at high flow rate, when fluvial erosion takes place removes part previously deposited bed, yearly amount between 2 9%, depending hydraulic regime IGR.
