摘要: The ring-down counting method was used to measure acoustic emission (AE) during the subcritical cracking of float-glass plates. It found that AE emanated primarily from surface flaws and a flaw =4 μm deep capable producing one count. dependence count rate on experimental parameters such as system gain specimen size determined use simulators for calibrating systems examined. results were show how data different ceramic materials might be compared.
