摘要: Acoustic emission testing has found many uses in recent years and new applications are constantly being uncovered. The interesting areas for application lie failure prediction the characterization of microscopic processes yielding fracture, macroscopic slow crack growth onset fast propagation. This paper described these emphasized that total counts count rate depend on energy released per event density events unit deformation. Where models presented, they should be regarded as first order approximations which await confirmation.
