摘要: Hypospadias is one of the most common congenital anomalies in men. The condition typically characterized by proximal displacement urethral opening, penile curvature, and a ventrally deficient hooded foreskin. In about 70%, meatus located distally on shaft; this considered mild form that not associated with other urogenital deformities. remaining 30% are often more complex. these cases, endocrinological evaluation advised to exclude disorders sexual differentiation, especially case concomitant unilateral or bilateral undescended testis. Although etiology hypospadias largely unknown, many hypotheses exist genetic predisposition hormonal influences. goal repair achieve cosmetic functional normality, currently, surgery recommended between 6 18 months age. can be corrected at any age comparable complication risk, functional, outcome; however, optimal remains conclusive. long-term overall outcome concerning appearance function fairly good, after correction, men may inhibited seeking contact. Moreover, lower urinary tract symptoms occur twice as patients undergoing still years initial repair.
