Förster resonance energy transfer between individual semiconductor nanocrystals and an InP film

摘要: The modification of the radiative decay a single emitter in close vicinity to dielec-tric interface is investigated by studying photoluminescence (PL) dynamics col-loidal semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) deposited on surfaces. PL lifetimes CdSe/CdS NCs spin-coated InP surfaces passivated with thin oxide layers are measured. Electrochemical passivation different thicknesses enables study influence distance between surface and NC lifetime. A shortening respect their glass strongly suggests opening recombination channels for photogenerated exciton, which we attribute energy transfer semiconductor. We also experimentally show orientation coupling.
