摘要: We describe a patient with mild haemophilia B who developed symptomatic venous thromboembolism after hip arthroplasty for traumatic fracture. A deep vein thrombosis in the operated leg while he was receiving high-purity factor IX concentrate. Subsequently, determined to be heterozygous carrier V Arg506Gln (Leiden) mutation. This case illustrates importance of providing thromboprophylaxis all patients coagulation replacement and undergo surgical procedures known associated high risk thromboembolism. In family history thromboembolism, preoperative screening presence mutation other thrombophilias may useful.
