摘要: Background Inosine triphosphate pyrophosphatase (ITPA) gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), rs1127354 and rs7270101, may cause a functional impairment in ITPase enzyme, resulting anemia protection patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection undergoing ribavirin (RBV)-dependent regimens. The main purpose of this study was to provide validate simple, rapid, inexpensive polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) technique for genotyping ITPA rs7270101 HCV-infected patients. Methods In the current study, 100 Iranian were examined genotyped polymorphisms. To genotype polymorphisms, PCR-RFLP sequencing performed on these samples. method, results should be 100% concordant PCR-sequencing results. Results by simultaneously, both techniques all Both indicated that genotypic frequency 80% AA, 19% AC 1% CC, 79% 20% CA respectively. Conclusion We developed validated rapid detection
