摘要: Neuropathic pain inflicts tremendous biopsychosocial suffering for patients worldwide. However, safe and effective treatment of neuropathic is a prominent unmet clinical need. Environmental enrichment (EE) an emerging cost-effective nonpharmacological approach to alleviate complement rehabilitation care. We present here review preclinical studies in ascertaining the efficacy EE pain. Their proposed mechanisms, including suppression ascending nociceptive signaling brain, enhancement descending inhibitory system, neuroprotection peripheral central nervous systems, may collectively reduce perception improve somatic emotional functioning The current evidence offers critical insights future research translational application management.
