摘要: The mycotoxin citrinin, depressed the phosphorylation efficiency of liver mitochondria as deduced from a decrease respiratory coefficient and ADP/O ratio. Citrinin (1.0 mM) inhibited some enzymes linked to chain, namely NADH oxidase cytochrome c reductase involved with complex I. activities related other enzymatic complexes chain were either unaffected or enhanced. ATPase activity was by mycotoxin. Malate, glutamate, 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenases also inhibited. transmembrane potential (delta psi), developed energized depolarization on addition ADP, decreased. results suggest that citrinin promotes partial dissipation potential, different resulting classical uncoupler such 2,4-dinitrophenol.
