摘要: Past research has generally shown that drug courts are reaching their target offenders and program participants rearrested at a lower or equivalent rate than comparison offenders. Few analyses have been conducted to test the relative effects of different court elements, however. The current takes closer look two main components court, supervision treatment, determine whether one is more effective preventing failure, combination both necessary observe decreased risk failure. Attending treatment significantly failure over two-year follow-up period, while receiving did not. Offenders who received had longest survival times, but not longer those only. Implications for in general discussed, as well avenues future this field.
