摘要: Objective: Optimization of conditions for cholesterol oxidase production by the microorganism isolated from urban compost and dairy soil samples. Methods: Isolates were obtained on basis their capability growing isolation medium A B (CHO) was estimated. CHO optimized optimization temperature, pH, carbon sources, organic inorganic nitrogen sources. Results: 3 isolates out 22 found to secrete extracellular as detected indicator plate designated producing isolate 1, 2 (COP COP 3). Results showed that strain belonging genus Rhodococcus sp. based morphological, cultural biochemical characteristics recorded highest activity. Optimum temperature pH activity be 35 °C 7.5 respectively. Steroidal substrate produced a significant increase in level (0.502 IU/ml). Organic sources supplemented combinations leads compared individual components. (NH 4 )2HPO yeast extract supported enzyme (0.574 Conclusion: The levels extracellularly cell bound CHO, can easily an industrial scale.
