摘要: The molecular origins of the common ion effect and salting out nonpolar molecules from aqueous solutions are investigated. Thermodynamic stability criteria for a mixture in polar solvent derived. Kirkwood–Buff statistical thermodynamics is used to make connection with microscopic pair correlation functions. observed sensitivity compositional respect ionic strength indicates that demixing transition primary cause instability our model Lennard‐Jones plus Coulomb Hamiltonian.
