摘要: The diffusion of ideas and practices is fundamental to our national way life. In areas from technology commerce religion, Americans presume that good will flourish. But in a country built on such presumptions, the policy poorly understood. On issues abortion capital punishment education environment, new policies spread one state or locality another. Yet, neither party operatives nor policymakers political scientists really understand routes transmission, rules governing them. Karch's innovative engaging book enables us appreciate sources dynamism American politics.
