摘要: Faced with long intervals between federal minimum wage increases in recent years, state legislatures are increasingly likely to take action. Motivated by the relative dearth of empirical work on wages American states, this article considered various explanations determine which factors associated legislative efforts pass increases. Taking seriously view that disagreements over effects enhances influence political factors, we drew policy adoption and diffusion literature examine how internal determinants (political economic variables) regional pressures relate both introduction legislation states years last two (1997‐2006).
