摘要: This theoretical study concentrates on the mathematical analysis of motion small (5-50 μm) spherical solid particles in inlet zone elastohydrodynamic point contacts, found various machine elements as, for example, ball bearings, order to compute particle trajectories fluid flow. Particles may collide a moving element contact (e.g., bearing) or bypass it. For those that another element, and mechanical force reveals if they will be entrapped and, possibly, cause surface damage, temporarily finally expelled. Particle rejection is associated with risk blockage starvation, which further film collapse scuffing. The gives useful evidence probabilities entrapment rejection, extending concept evaluate oil indentation, both, under operating conditions.
