E1 transition probabilities within the Kπ = 12± parity-doublet bands in 225Ra

摘要: Abstract The accuracy of the description K π = 1 2 ± bands in 225Ra as parity-doublet is tested by using E1 transition rates connecting them. As expected, δK 0 strength considerably larger than that found heavier actinides, where reflection-asymmetric shapes do not occur. deduced ΔK smaller but nevertheless surprisingly large for a shape and remains to be explained.
