摘要: An ever increasing variety of materials is available today, with each having its own characteristics, applications, advantages, and limitations. In choosing the right material, there not always a single definite attribute selection designers engineers have to take into account large number material attributes. This paper presents logical procedure for given engineering application. The based on an improved compromise ranking method considering attributes their relative importance application considered. Two examples are included illustrate approach.
