摘要: Abstract The behaviour of ovine rinderpest virus in experimentally infected crossbred calves and indigenous sheep was studied two phases. In the first phase, clinical manifestations were more pronounced than sheep. Leukopenia significantly higher. However, there no differences duration leukopenia between species. There a positive correlation with fever calves, which showed predominant lymphopenia. No mortality noticed sheep, whereas one calf died on Day 10 post-infection. second phase experiment, recovered from reactor subinoculated into another classical signs rinderpest. anorexia diarrhoea only noticed. Duration associated reduced lymphocytes 3 days for 8 days. Comparative responses species suggest that may serve as better indicator host vivo characterization isolates origin.
