Variable sampling rate controller design for brushless DC motor

摘要: The brushless DC (BLDC) motor uses a few Hall sensors to determine the position of rotor and subsequently drive motor. Without additional hardware, velocity measurement depends on consecutive sensor outputs. Therefore, speed frequency in BLDC is dependent. Conventional approach for control shunt resistor allow constant current sampling rate. However, time still variable. To solve this problem, paper proposes variable observer (VSFO) estimation. A rate model-based controller can then be build around proposed VSFO. also presents conservative design procedure guarantee system stability. Experimental results showed that effective. VSFO provides an access accurate measurement. It offers freedom design.
