摘要: Previous studies found that diabetics patients were less sensitive towards sweet taste compared to healthy subjects. However, examining sensitivity in relatives of still limited. Taste threshold and preference reported play a role determining food intake thus might the development diabetes. Therefore, this study aimed assess differences between individuals without any family history Total sugar added subjects also examined. Forty-seven with type 2 diabetes (W-FHD) 66 (WO-FHD) underwent sucrose test using 3-Alternative Forced Choice method hedonic sugar-sweetened tea samples. Three days twenty-four-hours (24hours) diet recall interviews performed order determine total including (g/day). Result showed although W-FHD has slightly lower WO-FHD, difference was not significant. Both groups rated 8% as most pleasant, gave higher score.
