摘要: Abstract The effect of sulphur addition (2–58 ppm) during the catalytic partial oxidation (CPO) methane was investigated on Rh-based honeycomb catalysts tested under self-sustained high temperature condition. Both steady state and transient operation CPO reactor were particularly with regard to poisoning/regeneration cycles low light-off phase. analysis products distribution in effluent a heat balance demonstrates that reversibly adsorbed Rh selectively inhibits steam reforming (SR) reaction path syngas production. extent SR inhibition is greater when operating air diminishes at lower CH4/O2 feed ratios. poisoning has been shown be independent from type bearing compound only indirectly affected by catalyst support (La2O3 or SiO2 stabilized alumina) through value dispersion.
