摘要: An Fe-C-Cr-Si-B overlay produced by a plasma transferred arc process on 1045 steel was remelted multipass or single-pass scanning with of 2 4 A, and the effects remelting microstructure wear performances were characterized. We show that non-dendritic, equiaxed microcrystallines refined dendritic structure presented cyclically from region/substrate interface to top surface. In regions, shrinkage holes reduced in size greatly improved. amorphous also found some areas transmission electron microscopy (TEM). After remelting, main constituent phase untreated (i.e. ferrite) converted austenite, while intermetallic compounds (Fe,Cr)7CC3 FeB decreased content dispersed into matrix as extremely fine particles. Remelting improved hardness resistance iron-based overlay. However, these not very significant.
