Mössbauer and magnetic studies of multiferroic Mg0.95Mn0.05Fe2−2xTi2xO4 system

摘要: A series of polycrystalline multiferroic system Mg0.95Mn0.05Fe2−2xTi2xO4 is prepared by a solid-state reaction route. The effect Ti+4 substitution in has been studied using x-ray diffraction (XRD), Mossbauer spectroscopy, isothermal magnetization hysteresis, temperature dependent dc susceptibility, and dielectric measurements. Structural transformation from cubic spinel to tetragonal revealed the XRD analysis. From analysis spectra, decrease hyperfine field at both tetrahedral octahedral sites observed as function concentration ions, which explained on basis supertransferred field. appearance paramagnetic doublet within sextet due interaction electric gradient (EFG) with quadrupole moment Fe57 nucleus magnetic between Fe ions Ti dilution. variation splitting i...
