摘要: Within the furniture manufacturing industry a high proportion of occupational accidents are as result non-compliance to machining regulations and incorrect work practices. Safety training plays an important role in reducing promoting safety culture within this sector. This article details action research study undertaken during first year new Degree Timber Product Technology, which set out evaluate impact blended learning environment reusable objects (RLOs) could have on safe practices amongst students. A constructivist approach was taken module design underpinned by Kolb’s model experiential learning, placing more responsibility learners for their own encouraging them reflect upon experiences. The findings suggest that students with prior experience required change attitude achieved practical labs, while no experiences were intimidated labs but whose enhanced through use RLOs other eLearning resources. In order reduce promotion continuing professional development (CPD) courses is workers’ behaviour machine encourage lifelong so promote industry.
