摘要: Biofilm is defined as a community in which microorganisms adhere to living or inanimate surface, embedded gelatinous layer self-produced matrix of extra polymeric substances, adhered each other, solid surface an interface. Adverse environmental conditions caused biofilm formation by inducing transition from planktonic cell form sessile and altered metabolism bacteria biofilms. Bacteria produce the specific secondary metabolites gain robustness. Although biofilms are often accepted potentially destructive for clinical other industrial fields, many beneficial there several reports related positive use these Beneficial could be used wide applications (antibacterial, food fermentation, biofertilizer, filtration, biofouling, prevention corrosion, antimicrobial agents, wastewater treatment, bioremediation microbial fuel cells) food, agricultural, medical, environment fields. According previous reports, certain strains including Bacillus spp. (B. subtilis, B. thuringiensis, brevis, licheniformis, polymyxa, amyloliquefaciens) Lactobacillus (L. casei, L. paracasei, acidophilus, plantarum, reuteri) Enterococcus (E. casseliflavus, E. faecalis, faecium), Pseudomonas (P. fluorescens, P. putida chlororaphis), Acetobacter aceti, some fungi Pseudoalteromonas sp., etc. led formation. Food agricultural industry may mostly benefit terms their biochemical, fermentative, biotechnological characteristics. Microorganisms positively affect quality characteristics products such texture, biochemical composition sensorial properties via production metabolites. Additionally, have importance water soil safety land. The present chapter highlights agriculture industry.
