摘要: Abstract: This chapter describes the use of beneficial biofilms for production industrial chemicals such as ethanol, butanol, lactic acid, acetic acid/vinegar, succinic and fumaric acid. It also emphasizes application biofilm reactors treatment dairy industry wastewater, oily sea water, wastewater in general. The bioreactor designs where these are used can be batch, continuous stirred tank (CSTR), packed bed (PBR), fluidized (FBR), airlift (ALR), or any other suitable reactor configuration. Biofilm simple, offer higher productivities, supports bone char, clay brick particles economically available.
