摘要: We investigated the chemical adsorption of poly(3-alkylthiophene) (P3AT) on Au using a self-assembling technique by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The XPS spectra in S 2p region P3AT self-assembled monolayer (SAM) were observed at 161.8 (S 2p3/2) and 163.6 eV 2p3/2). former was assigned to sulfur thiolate-gold component latter thiophene sulfur. These results indicate that head groups cause reactions with gold process. chemisorption polythiophene tightly easily metal surface through bonds will pave way for construction good electric contacts controllable modification electronic state surfaces essential or electrooptical devices such as light-emitting diodes.
