摘要: Molecular typing techniques with sufficient discriminatory power are required to better understand the transmission of Mycoplasma synoviae, a poultry pathogen increasing clinical and economic relevance. A promising molecular technique is polymerase chain reaction subsequent sequencing based on conserved 5' region M. synoviae variable lipoprotein haemagglutinin (vlhA) gene. This was used for genotyping 27 mainly Dutch isolates from different organs various categories housed farms collected during period 10 years. The obtained vlhA sequences were compared those strains Genbank data by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP). Grouping 100% similarity revealed nine genotypes. Some had identical gene although they originated geographical areas, years organs. AFLP analysis results largely confirmed sequence typing. Our findings raise concern regarding these its use in epidemiology differentiation between vaccine field isolates, indicate that additional markers should be considered.
