摘要: Aim: To develop a practical microfluidic 3D hepatocyte chip for hepatotoxicity testing of nanoparticles using proof concept studies providing first results the potential superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPION) under conditions. Methods: A with three material layers, which contains primary rat hepatocytes, has been fabricated and tested different concentrations (50, 100 200 μg/ml) SPION in 3-day (short-term) 1-week (long-term) cultures. Results: Compared standard well plates, flow provided comparable viability significantly higher liver-specific functions, up to 1 week. In addition, recapitulates key physiological responses SPION. Conclusion: Thus, developed is robust highly sensitive platform investigating profiles nanoparticles.
