摘要: The goal of this study was to provide data on the dose-dependent production dicentrics and micronuclei in human lymphocytes irradiated with 22.6 MeV protons estimate possible contribution intracellular superoxide dismutases (SOD) relative biological effectiveness (RBE) protons. For dose-response study, heparinized whole blood a healthy volunteer X-rays employing radiation doses 0.5–4 Gy. Three endpoints were analyzed: chromosomal aberrations, micronuclei, specific activity cytosolic (CuZnSOD) mitochondrial (MnSOD) harvested cells. Dicentric curves fit linear-quadratic form (α=0.094±0.006, β=0.032±0.001) induced (α=0.119±0.057, β=0.029±0.014) for protons.Protons more effective than producing exchanges, particularly at 0.5 1 In contrast X-ray samples where significant increase MnSOD recorded (up dose Gy), irradiation markedly reduced its activity. As consequence MnSOD, curve became quadratic. RBE varies (from 2.2 1.01) is an important contributor SODs, play role defending DNA from reactive oxygen species. A SOD,
