摘要: We study the parity effect and transport due to quasiparticles in circuits comprised of many superconducting islands. develop a general approach show that it is equivalent previous methods for describing their more limited regimes validity. As an example we through linear arrays Josephson junctions limit negligible energy observe emergence with decreasing number nonequilibrium quasiparticles. Due exponential increase relevant charge states increasing length, multijunction manifests qualitatively different ways two-junction case. The role disorder also studied as this hides much physics would otherwise be observed. Nonetheless, see current array at low bias by formation metastable even-parity states.
