摘要: Various imaging techniques have been employed to evaluate blood–brain-barrier leakiness in brain tumors, as higher tumor vascular is known be associated with grade and malignant potential of the tumor, hence can help provide additional diagnostic prognostic information. These range from routine post-contrast T1-weighted images that highlight degree contrast enhancement absolute measurement quantitative metrics employing complex pharmacokinetic modeling. The purpose this article discuss clinical applications available techniques, particular dynamic contrast-enhanced MR (DCE-MRI), leakiness. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
