摘要: Introduction: Nowadays, several casein components such as phosphopeptide amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) are vastly considered a suitable replacement for fluoride component. The aim of this study was to compare the effect CPP-ACP paste and varnish on dentin hypersensitivity reduction. Materials & Methods: In clinical trial study, thirty adult patients between ages 20-50 years, presenting with chief complaint were examined. loss less than 0.5mm. subjects divided into three groups: groups I II, treated using following manufacturer instructions. Group III received placebo gel. A visual analog scale used assess subjects' response compressed air ice stimuli at baseline, 7 days, 28 days 60 after treatment. Data analyzed by One Way Analysis Variance (ANOVA), Duncan Post Hoc test SPSS software version 21. Results: results showed significant statistical difference (P<0.05). group group, significantly decreased when baseline scores compared post treatment 7, 28, There no in reduction groups. Conclusion: that both effectively reduced dentinal placebo-control group.
