摘要: Background : Currently, the health scenario is riddled with burden of noncommunicable diseases. Aim The aim this study to assess awareness school children regarding risk factors diseases (NCD). Setting and Design Three hundred seventy-five children, studying in classes 6 10, formed subjects. Materials Methods selected for was a government school, located rural area. socioeconomic status mainly upper lower class. Students from 10 grades subjects among them, random sample 375 were study. A close-ended questionnaire relating 3 most commonly occurring NCDs, namely, Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) administered students. Statistical Analysis: Frequency proportions used analyze data. Results It found that lifestyle NCDs not satisfactory. areas least knowledge be passive smoking, early age at marriage, reuse cooking oil as NCD. Conclusion recommends need curriculum-based education prevention aspects motivation incorporate healthy practices into their daily lives.
