摘要: Background. Vascular calcifications are frequent in Stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD-5) patients receiving haemodialysis. The current study was designed to evaluate the associations between bone turnover/volume and coronary artery (CAC). Methods. In 207 CKD-5 patients, biopsies, multislice computed tomography of arteries blood drawings for relevant biochemical parameters were done. large number enrolled allowed separate evaluation with CAC versus without adjustment traditional non-traditional risk factors CAC. Results. When all analysed, found turnover, volume, age, gender dialysis vintage. only included, there a U-shaped relationship whilst association volume lost. these vintage remained. Conclusions. Beyond non-modifiable vintage, data show that abnormalities renal osteodystrophy amenable treatment should be considered management CAC.
