Etiologic factors in denture sore mouth syndrome

摘要: A total of 24 patients, 19 women and 5 men, complaining denture sore mouth was studied. In part I the following investigations were performed: (1) Mechanical factors evaluated. (2) Temperature measured beneath prosthetic denture. (3) Yeast cultures made. (4) Patch tests with possible allergens performed on buccal mucosa skin back. all these there no significant differences from results obtained in a control group. II connection between psychological explored. Test group matched compared. The data suggest that behavior concerning somatic symptoms general, neurotic base, is characteristic patients.
