摘要: As relatively poor countries, the candidate states from Central and Eastern Europe will be major recipients of structural funds assistance once they join EU. This prospect raises important questions about impact regional policy on territorial politics states. Chief among these is whether EU promote same trends towards political decentralisation regionalism in Countries (CEECs) that it claimed to have promoted current member To answer this question, article compares preparations for accession by two states, Czech Republic Poland. It finds indeed been an factor promoting administrative new democracies, but longer-term implication other remains difficult assess.
