摘要: Abstract Aluminum alloy base surface hybrid composites were fabricated by incorporating with mixture of (SiC+Gr) and (SiC+Al2O3) particles 20 μm in average size on an aluminum 6061-T6 plate using friction stir processing (FSP). Microstructures both the revealed that SiC, Gr Al2O3are uniformly dispersed nugget zone (NZ). It was observed addition rather than Al2O3 SiC particles, decreases microhardness but immensely increases dry sliding wear resistance composite. The properties are correlated microstructures worn micrographs.
