摘要: Objectives Hyperhomocysteinemia is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. We determine homocysteine levels (Hcy), paraoxonase (PON1) concentration and their relationship on complications in patients chronic renal disease (CRD). Design methods The study population included 100 CRD 120 healthy controls. Renal function was assessed using the eGFR by MDRD equation. Patients were considered to have when < 60 mL/min/1.73 m2. Hcy concentrations determined direct chemiluminescence assay. PON1 measured spectrophotometrically phenylacetate as a substrate. Results We found decreased compared control group (P < 0.001, P < 0.001, P < 0.01 respectively). showed lower than without respectively). Conclusion We that hyperhomocysteinemia low are markedly complications. Additional effects contribute severity increase incidence disease.
