Orthophosphate determination: Interference by mannitol and sorbitol

摘要: Abstract Mannitol and sorbitol interfered with the orthophosphate estimation based on formation of phosphomolybdate complex. Binding molybdate was cause interference as increasing concentration ammonium eliminated interference. Thus, for in presence mannitol, latter must be kept at below inhibitory level.
