摘要: Abstract The presently accepted theory for gradient separations of small molecules has been used to develop a predictive model peptides and proteins as samples, using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Given the experimental conditions (gradient time, flow-rate, temperature, etc.), molecular weight sample, certain column characteristics (Knox parameters, dimensions, particle diameter, it is possible calculate overall results given separation by elution: peak capacity or average resolution, volume relative height, etc. This information can in turn facilitate optimized any sample. present assumes that isocratic retention are interrelated peptide molecules, same fashion molecules. assumption verified various further gain new insight into control band-spacing elution.
