摘要: Publisher Summary Reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) now plays a critical role in the analysis and purification of peptides proteins from natural synthetic sources. The extraordinary popularity RP-HPLC for polypeptide can be attributed to number factors hi9ghlighted this chapter. Some potential polypeptides is demonstrated by selected samples. Despite current wide usage techniques protein sequencing studies many other areas involving resolution separations, selection particular chemically-bonded stationary mobile composition has frequently been based on empirical criteria. Not uncommonly, such arbitrary selections may not adequately address issues optimal chromatographic resolution, band shape or solute recovery. This chapter documents recent theoretical developments which characterize proteins, describes advances evolution fully mechanistic models describe physicochemical terms nature interaction between biological macromolecules surfaces.
