摘要: Ferroresonance phenomenon (FP) in a coupling capacitor voltage transformer (CCVT) profoundly deforms the waveform. Transient overvoltage due to transmission line switching, particularly series and shunt compensated power systems, is one of most important issues that increases exposure level CCVT FP. A probabilistic study focused on impact transient overvoltages FP conducted this article. Through framework, behavior different types ferroresonance damping circuits (FDCs) investigated. By investigating effect several factors such as switching instance fault presence compensation system, probability density function primary (bus voltage) secondary (CCVT output) signals with/without FDCs obtained. criterion based total harmonic distortion, designed identify determine severity FP, also introduced.
