摘要: PURPOSEFrom a population-based non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) registry, 41 patients with mantle cell (MCL) -- recently defined distinct B-cell NHL were selected and compared low- or intermediate-grade from the same registry.PATIENTS AND METHODSThe incidence behavior of MCL in area Comprehensive Cancer Center West (CCCW) 1981 to 1989 analyzed. Age, performance, tumor bulk, extranodal localization, stage, response therapy, survival registered. Expression cyclin D1 protein Ki-67 measured 29 patients.RESULTSMCL made up 3.7% NHLs. The median age was 68 years, male-to-female ratio 1.6:1. Seventy-eight percent presented stage IV, majority having bone marrow involvement. complete (CR) rate 32% (13 41), duration 25 months. overall time 31.5 International Prognostic Index identified five low-risk score media...
