Shape Evolution of α-Fe2O3 and Its Size-Dependent Electrochemical Properties for Lithium-Ion Batteries

摘要: Crystalline α-Fe 2 O 3 with different particle shapes and sizes was selectively synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. By carefully tuning the concentration of reactants reaction time, cuboid particles nanowires can be obtained. Based on evidence electron microscope images, shape evolution mechanism for nanowire structure is proposed. Electrochemical performance as an anode material lithium-ion batteries further evaluated cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance, charge-discharge measurements. It demonstrated that both morphology size had influence performance. Compared electrode made from material, displayed higher discharge capacity better cycling reversibility, which may result one-dimensional nanostructure high surface area.
