Hilbert Transform Techniques for Torsional Vibration Analysis

摘要: Torsional vibration can be considered as a phase modulation of uniform shaft speed. If encoder signal (with N pulses per revolution) is available from rotating then demodulation this gives the torsional provided certain conditions are met. A very efficient way performing to use an FFT analyser construct analytic corresponding measured real signal, and decompose it in amplitude components. There two basic methods for achieving such decomposition analyser, using baseband zoom analysis, respectively. The paper discusses pros cons choice analysis parameters, including averaging. illustrated by measurements on with Hooke's joint, signals diesel engine.
