Learning style preferences of preclinical medical students in a Malaysian university

摘要: Method: To explore the pattern of preferred learning styles 82 students, we administered VARK questionnaire to participants. assess self-esteem, Rosenberg self-esteem was used and academic performance based on overall results formative assessments. Results: Among respondents, 84% multimodal style learning. Out that, dual, trimodal quadrimodal were by 8.5%, 2.4% 73.2% respectively. The remaining 16% students single mode. Female had more diverse preferences with several combinations. A large proportion our in average group terms self- confidence performance. Conclusion: Most this study inputs their process. Our did not reveal any major gender differences styles. selfesteem, preference have bearing each other.
