摘要: The paper presents the application of a Taguchi dynamic experiment in developing robust high-speed and high-quality electrical-discharge machining (EDM) process. In this study, two-phase parameter design strategy coupled with double-signal ideal function methodology is proposed. first phase, EDM process designed as linear relationship between main input signal (machining time) output (material removal weight). This model seeks to develop that leads high material rate. second particularly adjustment (electrode dimension) (product dimension). purpose adjust machined product dimension through optimised parameters obtained desired provide an allowance for subsequent fine-polishing. Experimental results showed using proposed simple, effective, efficient Optimisation multiple quality characteristics has been achieved meet customer’s requirements.
